Whitman wants to run for Governor of California?
I must admit I couldn’t stop laughing about Meg Whitman expressing her interest in running for Governor of the state of California. Governor Schwarzenegger hasn’t handled the state’s economy badly enough? Let’s hand the reigns over to the past CEO of Ebay, whose poor customer relations is rage of talking points on the internet now. I’m not sure (nor do I care, which party she would be running under), but I’m sure her leadership skills would rival the Republican or as Rush Limbaugh would consider a RINO, (republican in name only), I prefer to call them Republicans in drag……or as Arnold would say……girlie men.
Hugo Chavez
Won his referendum on Monday to allow “indefinite rule.” This was one more step in the transformation from socialistic rule to dictatorship/communistic leadership. This referendum will affect all politicians in leadership roles, and not just Chavez himself. Chavez has already aligned himself with Iran, and has been accused of spewing anti-Israel rhetoric, who could ask for more, no term limits……….maybe a new Hitler is about to be born.

Soviets in Afghanistan
Monday soldiers who fought in Afghanistan some 20 years ago gathered to remember the conflict. Some 100,000 troops fought in the 9year war. They claimed they weren’t proud, they weren’t ashamed, but it just signified a landmark in their military history. One soldier said……. “they can’t be beaten, if President Obama was smart he’d move troops out before it becomes the same quagmire for him that it was for us.”
Rahm Emanuel
It seems the White House Chief of Staff might be the next one to pay some back taxes. It seems he stayed rent free in a Washington town house for the last 5 years. Emanuel explains it as “hospitality for a colleague”, and therefore never reported it on his financial forms. This is but yet another democrat that doesn’t pay his “fair share”, and as Joe Biden has said………that makes him unpatriotic!
