Obamacare confirmed by Conservative Chief Justice

Obamacare confirmed by Conservative Chief Justice
Al Ritter

Chief Justice John Roberts is a turncoat? He had to know that Kagen should have recused her own vote but refused. Why did he turn his back on the majority of America and the very party that elected him?

I am shocked and dumbfounded as well as the majority of Americans who wanted this travesty repealed. What swayed the conservative Chief Justice to ignore the stick in the eye that Obama and his cronies have constantly poked in the last three years? Constant violations of the Constitution haven’t been enough for this jurist? Forget the fact that he is the lead Supreme Court Judge, wouldn’t he already know that Justice Kagen was the solicitor general and had argued the case FOR Obamacare on the Whitehouse side and SHOULD have recused herself in this matter.

He had to know that by not recusing herself the Obama Administration would already have a handicap in favor of the issue!

He voiced his concern about taking money from Medicare, but yet basically gave his ok………….really?......Why would he do such a thing? Basically it appears that either the liberals have gained another vote…..OR….his vote was for sale plain and simple!

We are sunk America! Unless Romney pledges to revoke this law in some way or shape the voters have now been denied what they want to the whims and wants of one Supreme Court justice and the senate.

Face it folks, unless we take the senate by a decisive margin, it makes NO difference what the Congress votes to repeal this heinous law it WILL stand! Our only saving grace would be Romney, but his pledge to repeal Obamacare will fall on deaf ears..not sure if he can repeal it by Executive Order or not….I KNOW he can’t veto it after the fact……it’s time for the law experts to step forward and tell us about the options! Judge Napolitano……….what say you?

Lacking any further explaintion I have to ask Chief Justice Robert............what IS the cost of a vote of a Supreme Court Chief Justice these days?

Slacker!

Slacker!
Al Ritter

Ok Ok, I’ll admit it, I’ve been a slacker! I have been occupied working on my house lately, and to be honest I’ve been pretty disgusted with what I’ve been reading about Obama and his band of criminals surrounding the Whitehouse. This whole stonewalling from the Whitehouse on the investigation of “Operation Fast and Furious” in which Holder has lied several times on whose watch this program was created is totally infuriating to me.

As of today he has refused to supply 70% of the subpoenaed materials. It would be one thing if it was true that Darrel Issa were on a witch hunt, but the facts remain that he IS the standing chairman and investigative head to monitor illegal and questionable actions of government. The death of a border agent is anything BUT a witch hunt! It’s past time (over a year) and the Terry family has no closure and even fewer answers about who or who’s responsible for their son’s death.

Holder basically begged Obama to invoke Executive Privilege to keep 70% of those documents hidden. Holder tried to craft a deal with Issa to provide him with information (spoken) but not the actual documents subpoenaed material with the return promise to drop the entire investigation! Issa declared there was a no deal and moved to level a Congressional Contempt charge vote as early as next week.

Even bipartisan members want answers, and they will surely get them at some point. If the Congress levels a vote of contempt of congress, the next move will be to have him criminally charged. Whether or not this gets that far, one can bet that not only is Holder’s position in question, his entire future livelihood be in question.

The $64,000 question is why did Obama step in and not only involve himself in this controversy, but invoke Executive Privilege when the information requested didn’t involve National Security issues? Democratic pundits seem to think that this won’t make a bit of difference in the November election. I disagree…..I think the closer we get to the election people will remember his most recent lies and cover-ups. If you add this HUGE misstep to all the past lies……………and if the Supreme Court shoots down Obamacare and upholds Arizona’s SB 1070, you will see a real game changer as some of his base will surely erode, and some of those “undecideds” vote to unseat him!

Soon I will be back in full force for November, but until then, keep your powder dry, and ready the pitchforks!

Dear Patriots

Dear Patriots:
Grant Burmer
Some years ago I was able to store an original copy, or text, of the Proclamation for the 1849 California Constitution.  At the time of its publication for ratification the official delegates were located in Monterey.  Brevet, Brigadier General Bennett Riley was then, Territorial Governor of California, with headquarter in San Jose.
The process of Ratification by the People of California took place in November 1849 and by the first week of December election returns started coming in. On January 2, 1850 General Riley resigned his commission and turned his responsibilities over to the newly elected Legislature.
Of interest are the following tidbits:
Article I.  Entitled, Delcaration of Rights
Section:  1. All men are by nature free and independent, and have certain inalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property: and pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.
For those who may have forgotten, or did not know:  inalienable means “incapable of being alienated, surrendered or transferred, rights granted to us by God.  These rights indeed, have been made subject to the whims of the very government we have formed and ignorantly turned over to them. Dare I mention the Franchise Tax Board, Unions and other Power Brokers in the State Legislature?  On the Federal level the IRS.
Section: 2. All Political power is inherent in the people.  Government is instituted for the protection, security and benefit of the people; and they have the right to alter or reform the same, whenever the public good may require it.
May I add., NOT UNLESS WE HAVE THE COURAGE TO DEMAND IT! Ever wonder why tyrants in office want to take away your guns and God out of the institutions of Government?
I love this one, Sound Familiar?  Section:  21.  This enumeration of rights shall not be construed to impair or deny others retained by the people.
This is my favorite:   Rights of Suffrage
Article II Sec: 5. No idiot or insane person, or person convicted of any infamous crime, shall be entitled to the privileges of and elector.
Today, one wonders, whose in the majority in or about Sacramento?
Article IV.  Sec: 27.  No Lottery shall be authorized by the state nor shall the sale of lottery tickets be allowed.
Perhaps our leaders in Sacramento did not at the time realize the benefits of the lottery for the general fund?
Sec: 35.  The legislature of the State shall prohibit by law, any person or persons, association, company, or corporation, from exercising the privileges of banking, or creating paper to circulate as money.
Common sense must have flown out the window, do you think? I love the word shall, as in shall not, or shall prohibit. Pretty exclusive verbiage I would say!
And finally Article XI Sec: 3. Entitled “Miscellaneous Provisions”
Members of the legislature, and all officers executive and judicial, except such inferior officers as may be by law exempted, shall before they enter on the duties of the respective offices, take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation:  “I do solemnly swear (or affirm as the case may be.) that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California;  and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of _____according to the best of my ability.  And no other oath, declaration, or test, shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust.”
The only fault I find with this is that it is perhaps inappropriately titled as an afterthought.  Truly each provision quoted is unique on its’ own terms. Our elected leaders too often appear to treat their responsibilities with a blasé unconcern, send me my check at the end of the week attitude, lacking any character.      I mean by character, that which portrays moral excellence, one who is honest, trustful, loyal, and most of all selfless.
When California solicited to become the 31st State of the Union the men who formed it said this:  “the putting into operation of a government, which shall establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, promote the general welfare and secure the blessing of civil religious and political liberty, should be an object of the deepest solicitude to every true-hearted citizen, and the consummation of this dearest wishes.  The price of liberty is eternal vigilance, and this it is not only the privilege but the duty of every voter, to vote his sentiments. No freeman of this land who values his birth-right, and would transmit unimpaired to his children, and inheritance so rich in glory and in honor, will refuse to give one day to the service of his country. Let every qualified voter go early to the polls___.  (Let) the world see by what majority of freemen, California, the bright star of the west, claims a place in the diadem of the glorious Republic, formed by the union of thirty-one sovereign States.”

Diadem=”A Royal Crown”

Oh that if it were true now.

46 + 46 = 8

46 + 46 = 8
Kevin Bryant

President Obama is going to receive 46% of the vote in the general election no matter what happens. Governor Romney is going to receive 46% of the vote so long has he doesn’t do anything stupid.

8% of the US population will decide who the next president will be and many have yet to make up their mind. It amazes me that the election will be decided by a relatively few people but it doesn’t surprise me at all. What amazes me is the reason why some of these people will vote the way they are going to. President Obama is going to have people voting for him because they want to continue getting their government handouts. Some will vote for him simply because he is black. Still others will vote for him because they don’t like George Bush (some people are so stupid they shouldn’t be allowed to vote). Yep, a guy on the radio the other day stated he was voting for Obama because he doesn’t want to see Bush back in office.  Romney will get votes for valid and stupid reasons as well.

No, I’m not surprised about the 8%. What does surprise me is how far apart the other 92% of the people are. This country has almost been ripped in half over the last 3 & ½ years. We have seen race warfare, class warfare, sexual orientation warfare, the war on women, the war on business, the war on the wealthy, war on the middle class, the war on taxes, the war on the TEA party, the war on what is and isn’t a real grass roots movement, the war on the constitution, the war on individual rights, the war to keep government out of our bedrooms…….and this list can keep going to fill this entire page.

What I fail to understand is why on earth do we keep sending people to Washington who either wage these idiotic wars or idly sit by and allow them to happen instead of standing up and say with conviction “We are here to represent the people and the people are sick and tired of all this”.

We the people of the United States formed this government. We the people elected those idiots in Washington (what the hell were we thinking) to represent us. I don’t believe in a democracy where the general population gets to decide everything. I do believe in a representative form of government but wake up because “we the people” aren’t being represented except by a small handful of the 535 members of congress who are supposed to represent us. We need to clean house from the top down. Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, Clyburn and Cantor, yes indeed, get rid of all them. More importantly though clean out the white house from the top down.

You really want to know why the 8% doesn’t surprise me. I really had a hard time in 08 voting for McCain. The more I studied him, the less I liked. What my vote came down to was the fact that I thought McCain wouldn’t stomp all over the constitution with as much excitement as Obama. What I didn’t see coming was Obama not only stomping on it but then ripping it up and wiping his butt with it.

As I stated before, I am not a Romney fan but I will vote for him this time around. If in 3 years he has not impressed me, back into the 8% I go.
