The Peaceful Revolution's First 100 Days

The Peaceful Revolution's First 100 Days
By Mark Alexander

Last fall, Barack Hussein Obama pledged that his administration would carry out a "fundamental transformation of the United States of America." Today, as we reflect on the first 100 days of the Obama regime's occupation of the executive branch, with Party allegiance in the legislative branch, it pains me to report that he has exceeded the wildest expectations of his Socialist constituencies.

In the wake of last year's "October Surprise" (the catastrophic meltdown of the nation's largest financial institutions), his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, said of Obama's strategy, "Rule 1: Never allow a crisis to go to waste. They are opportunities to do big things."

Indeed, Obama has done BIG things. In the words of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, "Obama's first 100 days have been spectacularly successful. Obama is the strongest domestic Democratic President since Lyndon Johnson. ... In just 100 days, Obama has been devastatingly effective in moving forward swiftly the most radical, government-expanding agenda in American history."

How did that happen?

Some political scientists argue that democracy is a conduit for "peaceful revolutions," including radical shifts in political ideology, without a shot being fired.

I agree, except that our nation is not a "dumbocracy." It is a republic, or at least it was before the once proud Democrat Party became infested with Socialists, who masterfully co-opted the education system along with the modern "opiate of the masses" (television and print media), and re-educated those masses.

So successful has this Leftist strategy been that their dumbed-down constituencies now follow their messianic leader like dullard lemmings.

Consequently, here is an account of a few notable events from the first 100 days of "hope and change."

Under the aegis of "economic stimulus," Obama promptly raided the Treasury and doled it out to his constituencies -- at terrible expense to this and future generations. Asked how one might evaluate the effectiveness of his plan, Obama replied, "I think my initial measure of success is creating or saving four million jobs." Not even Bill Clinton had the hubris to suggest something as slick as "saving four million jobs."

Remarkably, Obama managed to ram that one through Congress without a single Democrat claiming to have read it.

As for his cabinet, a long list of Obama nominees agreed to pay back taxes in return for rubber stamp appointments, including Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, who, despite owing more than $40,000 now oversees the IRS.

Poor nominee Tom Daschle, who in a previous life as Demo Senate Majority Leader proclaimed, "Tax cheaters cheat us all, and the IRS should enforce our laws to the letter." He was all but confirmed as HHS Secretary until we learned that he had cheated us out of $130,000 in back taxes. Apparently even Obama's hypocrisy knows some limits.

Obama last fall repeatedly promised to end the practice of special interest earmarks. Then, he signed an appropriations bill with more than 8,000 earmarks, including $2 billion for House Appropriations Chairman David Obey's lobbyist son's projects, $3.7 billion for contracts to Sen. Diane Feinstein's husband's company, and $4.19 billion for Obama's favorite voter fraud outfit, ACORN.

When the pork-laden bill passed, Obama had the audacity to proclaim, "I'm proud that we passed a recovery plan free of earmarks."

Obama also converted the Federal Reserve and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation into instruments for nationalizing the banking system.

Under the pretense of responding to "global warming," Obama has plans to impose almost $2 trillion in cap-and-tax energy taxes -- this despite his oft-repeated pledge that 95 percent of Americans wouldn't see their taxes increased.

Obama's $3.5 trillion 2010 budget includes projections for more than $9 trillion in near-term increases of national debt. Feigning fiscal integrity, Obama demanded budget cuts of $100 million -- which is to say that even while obscenely expanding the size of government, he targeted some spending that was out of line with his ideology. For the record, $100 million represents three one-thousandths of one percent of Obama's FY 2010 budget, or approximately what the central government redistributes every 13 minutes of every hour of every day of every week of...

Harvard Economist Greg Mankiw also offered some perspective on this $100 million spending cut, noting that it's the equivalent of a family with a $100,000 income cutting a $3 latte from their budget.

Of Obama's budget, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi exclaimed, "[F]or the first time in many, many years, we have a president's budget ... that is a statement of our national values. ... It's a very happy day for our country."

Meanwhile, according to The Wall Street Journal, in February, the price of single-family homes in 20 major metropolitan areas fell 18.6 percent from the previous year, after a record 19 percent drop in January.

In the first quarter of 2009, the U.S. economy contracted at a seasonally adjusted 6.1 percent annual rate, and Americans lost more than two million jobs. No doubt Obama's bold and swift action saved four million other jobs.

Perhaps the most dangerous of all the Obama policy shifts, however, is his framing of our foreign policy with atonement for America's past, which he says has been "arrogant," "dismissive" and "derisive." In doing so, he lends credibility to the anti-American attitudes and actions of our enemies.

Some of the most telling examples of Obama's ideology are apparent in the last few of his first hundred days. For example:

Day 97: Obama's White House Military Office appointee, former Clintonista Louis Caldera, authorized a photo shoot of Air Force One over Manhattan, an event which involved the low flight of a large jet plane with two F-16s in pursuit over Ground Zero and points nearby. Because the public wasn't told, many feared another 9/11 attack was in progress.

Indeed, an FAA memo prior to the flight warned of "the possibility of public concern regarding DoD aircraft flying at low altitudes." To which Obama responded, "It, uh, was, uh, a mistake. It, uh, will never, uh, happen again."

The Air Force reported that the flight of the VC-25 (customized Boeing 747) and its two attendant F-16s cost $328,835. However, the actual cost associated with the operation of VC-25 alone, when considering all support and planning for this photo folly, was closer to $775,000 (and who knows how many Al Gore carbon credits had to be purchased to offset this operation).

On the other hand, the one-time purchase of Adobe Photoshop costs around $600.

In January, Obama chastised private sector executives for using corporate jets to commute, most of which cost $3-$5 thousand per hour to operate. The plane we taxpayers fund for Obama costs $260,000 per hour to operate, and Monday, it was cruising around without him.

Day 98: Obama's EPA administrator, Lisa Jackson, in an NPR interview about Obama's Orwellian cap-and-tax policy, remarked, "The president has said, and I couldn't agree more, that what this country needs is one single national roadmap that tells automakers, who are trying to become solvent again, what kind of car it is that they need to be designing and building for the American people."

The interviewer asks, "Is that the role of the government? That doesn't sound like free enterprise."

Jackson, obviously in need of her ObamaPrompter, replied, "Well, it, it, it is free enterprise in a way. Um, ah, you know, first and foremost, the free enterprise system has us where we are right this second. And so some would argue that the government has a much larger role to play then we might've when Henry Ford rolled the first cars off the assembly line."

Some might argue that "we are where we are" because government has played "a much larger role since Henry Ford rolled the first cars off the assembly line."

Day 99: After the media fanned the flames about a "swine flu pandemic," Obama warned, "This is obviously a serious situation, serious enough to take the utmost precautions." He then promptly applied his "Rule 1" and asked Congress for $1.5 billion in emergency funding.

Day 100: The Obamaprompter addressed the nation yesterday, and not only did he claim, "We inherited a $1.3 trillion deficit. That wasn't me," but once again trotted this one out: "[My recovery act] has already saved or created over 150,000 jobs."

We checked, and Congress sets budgets, the Democrats have controlled the Senate and House for the last two years (which coincides with the housing and financial market collapses) and Obama was in the Senate for two of those years.

â?¨As for jobs, I am sure that Obama has "saved" all our jobs! Hail Obama! Let's us all bow down to "The One."

House Minority Leader John Boehner correctly surmises, "The president's first 100 days can be summed up in three words: spending, taxing, and borrowing."

Suffice it to say, the list is as long as it is absurd, and you can bask in a litany of examples we've compiled for your reading displeasure at "The First Hundred Days."

As for "peaceful revolutions," John F. Kennedy declared in 1962, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

I would argue this case: "Those who undermine our republican rule of law make violent revolution inevitable."

To that end, there is some good news on the "checks and balances" front, though some may find this a bit disconcerting.

There are now more than 65 million gun-owning Patriots across this nation, many of whom have taken sacred oaths "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

We stand ready to honor that oath, understanding that, in the words of John Adams, "A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."

And the ranks of Patriots are growing.

In the last three months of 2008, Americans bought enough guns to arm the national armies of both China and India -- a total of 12.7 million guns last year. Gun sales in the first three months of 2009 were 27 percent higher year-over-year than the first three months of 2008 (which also recorded record sales).

Perhaps all these gun purchases are coincidental, not consequential. But I doubt it. As Americans begin to awaken to the reality of Obama's Socialist agenda, it will be interesting to see how his next 1,361 days unfold.

At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin was asked if the delegates had formed a republic or a monarchy. "A republic," he responded, "if you can keep it."

We will see.

Time For Real Reform

Time For Real Reform
Kevin Bryant

Over the past several months, time and again we have seen bad behavior rewarded at the expense of good behavior. Out of control government spending, bank bailouts, mortgage bailouts, AIG bailouts, auto industry bailouts, stimulus bills and now a 4 trillion dollar budget. Each and every one of these is funded by hard working Americans who play by the rules. The biggest problem with this is that those that pay for this has no say so in how the money is actually being spent. We go to work, pay our taxes and except at election time, we are forgotten by the ones who control our dollars.

The preamble to the Constitution says in part: provide for the common defense (pay for our military, coast guard and law enforcement), promote the general welfare (encourage that which enables us to prosper as both individuals and as a nation) and secure the blessings of liberty (protect our inalienable rights). Nowhere does it say: provide welfare, secure failing business, grant liberties or weaken defense. I am going to touch on all these in one form or another.

I am sure we can all agree that the current tax code is cumbersome, confusing and totally useless to everyone but tax lawyers. I personally am in favor of a flat tax on income without exemptions. Have a constitutional amendment that specifically states that no one can be taxed more than 30% total: No higher than 20% Federal and 10% State. Eliminate all other taxes completely. Get rid of everything from gas tax to sales tax to property tax. Furthermore, make it constitutionally illegal to tax welfare or any other form of federal or state aid. This will force federal and state governments to turn in balanced budget each year. By doing this, you eliminate the need for 85% of the state and federal IRS employees. Later on in this, we will put these people back to work.

Anyone who works for the government or a private company is subject to random drug screening. I have personally taken over 75 drug tests in my life: more than 70 in the military, 2 with my first job since military retirement in 2005 and 3 with my current employer. Had I failed one of them, I would no longer be employed and would be a burden to those who do play by the rules and pay their taxes.

I think anyone age 12 and above residing in a home where any resident is receiving government assistance should be subject to random drug screening. Use the government buildings that were being used to house federal and state IRS & department of revenue and turn them into drug screening centers. Use the displaced employees previously mentioned to do the administrative work. If the person can’t make it to the screening center because of health reasons, they must produce a verification letter from a licensed physician. Anyone lacking transportation must call within 48 hours of notification so that transportation can be provided or a screener can come to their home whichever is more convenient. Anyone age 55 or older will be exempt from the drug screening process.

First offense would result in a loss of assistance for a period not less than 90 days. After 90 days, the person must reapply for assistance and pass a drug screening. If a child or other resident of the home was the one who failed the drug test, that person, as well as the one applying must both pass a drug test. A second offense would result in a loss of assistance for a period of not less than 6 months, the home would be subject to random searches for illegal substances and all members of the household regardless must pass a drug screening before reapplying for assistance. A third offense would result in permanent loss of assistance.

The number of benefits if this were enacted would be too numerous to list all of them, but here are a few:

Less drug violence
Safer borders
Less illegals coming into the country
Less money spent of welfare
Safer low-income neighborhoods
Lower crime rate
Less cash flowing into Mexico
And many more…….

Some out there would say this is bias against blacks and hispanics because they make up the majority that receives assistance. My response to that is: ‘Poverty is an equal opportunity social status. Drugs are an equal opportunity addiction or habit or hobby. There is no bias in this, there is no racism here and I dare anyone to tell me differently.

Since the days of T. Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, America’s solution to problems has been to throw more money at the problem and form a counsel to oversee it. FDR’s New Deal didn’t end the depression, it prolonged it. Spending more money per student than any nation on earth didn’t raise test scores, they still continue to drop. Crime legislation has never decreased crime. Gun restrictions only make it harder for law-abiding citizens to own guns. Campaign finance, welfare reform, amnesty for illegals, none of these worked. Drugs are addicting and so is government spending money. The only way to change these habits is to either take what is addicting away or make it impossible to circumvent the system to find new ways to do these things.

For the past 80 to 90 years, government has done nothing but throw water bottles at fires that continues to burn out of control. Real problems require real solutions.

Martin what are you thinking?

Just in case you think Governor Martin O’Malley has his finger on the pulse of Maryland, let’s just review the last week in Maryland news. Martin thinks that because Michelle Obama planted a garden, that his wife Katie needs to do the same thing. Of course you call it “Eat it, grow it,” and Michelle calls it “you voted for it, now you suffer from it,” the idea is the same. We reap what we sow…..

We see that the Governor has enough money to spend on the purchase of “water front property” on the bay, and then institute a “Maryland Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights,” along with his nemisis School Superintendent Nancy Grasmick, how excited she must have been. It’s not as if the indoor bill of rights wasn’t good enough, but now Governor O’Malley sees this as an opportunity to fill young impressionable minds with his totally unobtainable environmental policy of a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020. He calls this fiasco the “The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act of 2009,” and hasn’t claimed once how he hopes to accomplish this lofty goal that NO country has been able to do. I suppose if you show these kids Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” enough times even they would believe it……..I thought we claimed that torture wasn’t happening in the U.S.

Martin saw fit after elected Governor to basically bail out on Baltimore, as he dropped his once rabid tirade against BGE/ Constellation Energy, and let the citizens fend for themselves. Obviously he bailed out on Sheila Dixon because after her indictment he has been curiously silent, even though she was his protégé. Along with his support for her, went the concern about crime in Baltimore, as the city he once represented made national history this week as #10 on list as the countries deadliest cities.

It is comforting however that Governor O’Malley hasn’t given up his weekend job, because surely he will need something to fall back on when his political career falls into the flusher as the Governor stopped by Coffey Music and strummed a few tunes in Westminster, MD.

On a few notes this week, we have noticed that the Governor has held the tuition on state colleges for the fourth year in a row, and yet he, as usual has sacrificed the primary education in the budget. I have two questions for the governor in question, did we get back the 11 million dollars from the Obama coronation, and have you now given up the 2 million dollar donation to Casa de Maryland, because you couldn’t any longer claim to be a sanctuary state to illegal aliens after the law change over licenses?

I’m missing my buddy today

I’m missing my buddy today, a wonderful woman whom I’ve had the pleasure to know for some 20 years. She was a woman from the golden era, who thought that the best way to be was happy. My father, a rather gruff individual that somehow always found the wrong thing to say at the wrong time, introduced her to me. This woman was different; she exuded class and positive mental attitude. She had an amazing effect on my father and his more then often rough edges.

For years I had watched my father do verbal battle with my mother, until their final divorce, but this relationship he had with this woman was different. She was able to disarm him with a few simple words, and even bring a smile to his face in the bargain.
They had both moved into a retirement community at the same time, she got a little one room apartment, and he begrudgingly purchased the two bedroom one. He requested his unit on the backside of the building while hers was on the front side. He got his in the back so she couldn’t monitor his coming and going. So things went for close to 5 years, they grew closer, did everything together and overall enjoyed each other’s company.

Dad had a stroke after about 6 years there, and thanks to her coaxing; he was in a place that the transition could be made easily into nursing care. She watched over and guarded him like a mother bear, faithfully cleaning and caring for his every need for 2 ½ long years. She never once complained, but took care of him like a wife, even though she turned down overtures from my father to marry him. Her affection was that of unconditional love, and when he finally passed, my cousin and I started watching over her like protective bears. We found it rather hard to protect someone who was so private and evasive, but we did our best. After a brutal bout with Lou Gehrig’s disease, my cousin passed long before his time, and I was left alone to watch over my father’s “significant other.”

She was just barely over 93 years old, and now suffering from extreme dementia, but her spirit had never dimmed. For years her life was devoted to helping everyone from my father to the housekeeper that cleaned her apartment when she lived upstairs. Even when she moved into assisted living, she volunteered to do anything she could to make everyone’s life easier. She was truly the least selfish person I’ve ever met in my life, and I was privileged to know her. She was a product of her own time, and carried herself as such, she always dressed as if she was going somewhere, but instead did it as a tribute to her true nature. Her life deserved more then a silently extinguished flame, but then again at 93 she had outlived most of her peers. She was the last soldier standing, and last Saturday morning she drew her last breath, but her spirit will live on in me, something to live up to, something to aspire to, and yet, I know Dad was waiting there for her, and I was but a temporary guardian over an extraordinary woman…………God Speed my lovely Fran.

After The Party

After The Party
Kevin Bryant

As the dust begins to settle from all the tea parties held across the nation, one wonders if they actually did what they were meant to do.

Congress has for far too long ignored the people they were sent to Washington to represent. Perhaps we can trace the blind eyes and the deaf ears of congress back to the 94 election when for the first time, republicans controlled both houses. The House of Representatives tried for the next couple of years to live up to its “Contract with America” and do what was right for the people and the nation. The senate played along for a bit, but when it became apparent that Bill Clinton would be elected to a second term, the senate more so than the house began to coddle favors from the President in exchange for voting with him on certain domestic agendas.

When George W. Bush was elected in 2000 by such a narrow margin, many then and still now believe that the election was stolen. Those in congress and the media that supported Al (snore) Gore took every opportunity available to mock, smear or make a sham of his presidency regardless if his actions were right or wrong. To the detriment of America, the republican controlled congress repaid all those snide comments and public Bush bashings by doing whatever they wanted or could get by with. Instead of putting America first, congress established new heights (or lows depending on how you look at it) in partisan politics and with the elections of 2008 it’s still growing at an even more rapid pace.

The past 8 years has been nothing but chaos in congress at the expense of “We the People of the United States”. The tea parties were a display of just how tired we are as a nation of the massive ineptitude of congress to act appropriately and in our best interest.

The media got the tea parties all wrong. Some of the comments were: organized Obama bashing, republicans whining because they lost an election, protest held by racist because a half black man was elected President, Fox News supported anti-government protest to pretty much everything you can think of besides the truth. Truth be told and I think it was apparent to anyone who paid attention, it was a coming together of republicans, democrats, libertarians, conservatives, moderates, blacks, whites, hispanics and people from every walk of life to tell congress and the President that “We the People” have had enough. The President and the Congress work for us.

Will they get the message? Probably not. They are so self absorbed into their own world that they feel they do not need to acknowledge the very people whose lives they are making worse each and every passing day. Sure, they will put on smiley faces and tell the public that they got the message loud and clear, and right there is where I am certain it will end. The message will not be heard until the next election and those currently in power try to figure out just why they were voted out of office.

One can only hope that they understood the true meaning of them and got the message.

Did the kidnapping by pirates last too long?

While Barack Obama is sucking up praise for the handling of the kidnapping Captain Richard Phillips, of the Maersk Alabama, questions are circulating on whether the situation was handled as quickly as it could have been.

The USS Bainbridge arrived on scene and yet the SEAL contingent was not dispatched until 36 hours into the kidnapping, despite the recommendations of an on scene the scene commander. Early in the incident when the pirates had demanded batteries and food, and the Bainbridge had ordered an inflatable to deliver those items. The inflatable came under fire from the pirates, but couldn’t return fire even though they had the pirates in their sights.

The President had ordered rules of engagement that said, “do nothing unless the hostage's life was in "imminent” danger.”

In the middle of the incident Capt. Phillips escaped into the water, but SEALS were ordered to do nothing lethal.

The White House had turned down two rescue plans from an on the scene SEAL commander and the commander from the USS Bainbridge.

Sources from the scene are less than impressed with President Obama’s action or inaction.

Barack Oclueless

In the wake of yesterdays massive “Tea Parties” White House Press Secretary Gibbs was acting as if his pet beagle had just turned on him. In an explanation akin to a speech his boss would make, he reverted to the candidate Obama stance of, “ a tax reduction for 95% of America.” He acted every bit as clueless as his boss, his administration has increased spending 4 times what his predecessor did, and yet never mentions how he is going to pay for it.

I have news for the Oclueless Administration; the American public isn’t going to stay stupid for long. They see unrestrained spending and bailouts, and they know SOMEONE has to pay for it! Then they see nothing but tax in a program called cap and trade of the burning of fossil fuels, they see through your thinly veiled explanation that we need to reduce emissions. They see the program has nothing to do with reduction, but only taxation. They see you posturing to add “free healthcare” to our country, which will be anything BUT free once Congress gets finished with it! They want to know Mr. President, who will pay for the healthcare of those who don’t want to work?

They at least want to see a picture of the family they will be supporting, even church groups do that! They want to know how you intend to pay for a war in Afghanistan that has less support in the world scene then Iraq had. They want to know how many generations your spending spree will span. You no longer can blame the last Administration for the increase in spending, because as far as spending goes sir, you make George Bush look like a rank amateur!

American voters know and realize more then you think, no President in history has had as large a protest as you had yesterday, especially after only being in office for 100 days. Your popularity is plummeting in the wake of your spending and Congress passing laws at an unheard of rate that doesn’t include any Republican input, or even debate. The Congress is there to debate issues before voting on them. A dictatorship ramrods laws in with no oversight, and Americans don’t want that. In fact Mr. President, it is doubtful that America wants the socialist policies you have so far pushed in your Stimulus Plan. Some states have denied your policy changes, and refused to take some of your money, because they see through your charade.

American voters know that when times are tough, you show restraint in financial matters, it’s shame that you sir don’t see that too. Nobody spends his or her way out of a recession, and history will not be made on your spending spree.

Pay attention President Obama and Congress, your citizens are watching you now…..CLOSELY!

Toxic Assets
It seems that Leyman Brothers had an asset that is rather toxic to say the least. Toxic Yellowcake Uranium 450,000lb of it! It seems that Leyman Brothers saw an opportunity to make money by speculating on Uranium, but it seems the bottom has dropped out of that market along with all the others. They say they will wait till the market recovers before trying to sell it. Even so, in today’s Uranium market the value tops $20 million dollars.

More fraudulent statements
President Obama has once again claimed that 90% of the drug cartels weapons come from the U.S., a fact disproved last month when Hillary Clinton used the same bad figures, it seems that nobody either gave him the memo, or posted on his teleprompter. The real figure is that 17% of the weapons come from the U.S.

France backs off global warming
Global warming skeptic Dr. Claude Allegre could be the new the next French Environment Minister in President Nicolas Sarkozy’s administration. Allegre has called Al Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize a “political gimmick”. Allegre, a former French Socialist Party leader and a member of both the French and U.S. Academies of Science, was one of the first scientists to sound global warming fears 20 years ago, but he now says the cause of climate change is "unknown." This comes in the face of the Obama Administration’s move to push the cap and trade scheme in America.

Obama reveals more Bush documents
Obama seems to feel it’s fine to reveal yet more classified Bush memos, this time on interrogations of enemy combatants, once again violating the unspoken trust between past Presidents. He claimed he wasn’t trying to embarrass President Bush, but he needed to uncover the dark past of America. All I can say is……YEA RIGHT! He best hope the next president doesn’t share the same loose lips that he possesses.

I’m a right wing extremist!

I’m a right wing extremist!

I always considered myself a conservative first, and a Republican second. My core values are based on moralist views, and a respect for the history of the Constitution. I try to craft my views on the principles of our founding fathers. Some people have called me a neocon, bigot, tinfoil hatter, birther, and other names not fit for publishing. I have been physically threatened for writing about my views, and those threats have increased as the new Administration gains in its power.

Being called names by others that don’t believe the same way as I do, has until now been a moot point. They are my opinions, and I am entitled to them, but now I have a new label, one that has been attached to me by way of a Department of Homeland Security report to the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. First let’s show you who they label as a “Right Wing Extremist.” All wording from the report will appear in blue.

(U) Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

Although the Constitution grants states the majority of control, this report tends to label that authority and the people who agree with it as extremists. This only goes from bad to worse, as we see from the wording of this report, that ANYONE who disagrees with the Administration as a right wing extremist. Nowhere in the report is “left wing extremism” even mentioned. The report speaks about “skinheads” and militias, but never speaks a word about ACORN as being detrimental to the well being of our country. Let’s view more.

(U//LES) The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific
information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,
but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about
several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first
African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and
recruitment.

(U//LES) Rightwing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first
African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new
members, mobilize existing supporters, and broaden their scope and appeal
through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning.

(U//FOUO) The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of
military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities
could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists
capable of carrying out violent attacks.

The DHS report speaks nothing of proof of the claims they make, only to instill a paranoid delusion in law enforcement units across the country. It is very obvious this is a mandate handed down from the Oval Office to demonize any and all people who don’t believe in present governmental policies. This reads like the movie “1984,” let’s read on.

(U//FOUO) Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans
likely would attract new members into the ranks of rightwing extremist groups,
as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for
violence against the government. The high volume of purchases and
stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by rightwing extremists in anticipation
of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary
concern to law enforcement

(U//FOUO) Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are
attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing
extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to
boost their violent capabilities.

(U//LES) Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment
tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential
administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and
citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms
ownership and use. Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns
and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the
present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers.

They don’t think twice to label my opinions as “propoganda,” but think nothing of furthering their own, they site specific issues that separate the two parties and ideologies, but consider what we believe as extremist, and worthy of violence.

(U//FOUO) Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and
white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point, and recruiting tool. Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.

(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremist groups’ frustration over a
perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration has the potential to incite
individuals or small groups toward violence. If such violence were to occur, it likely
would be isolated, small-scale, and directed at specific immigration-related targets

(U//FOUO) Many rightwing extremist groups perceive recent gun control legislation as a
threat to their right to bear arms and in response have increased weapons and ammunition stockpiling, as well as renewed participation in paramilitary training exercises. Such activity, combined with a heightened level of extremist paranoia, has the potential to facilitate criminal activity and violence.

This report tries to link people who disagree with current policies as being on the same plain with Timothy McVeigh. Like I said earlier, no proof…….just the same phrase “potential to facilitate criminal activity and violence.”

(U//FOUO) On the current front, legislation has been proposed this year
requiring mandatory registration of all firearms in the United States. Similar
legislation was introduced in 2008 in several states proposing mandatory tagging
and registration of ammunition. It is unclear if either bill will be passed into law;
nonetheless, a correlation may exist between the potential passage of gun control
legislation and increased hoarding of ammunition, weapons stockpiling, and
paramilitary training activities among rightwing extremists.

(U//FOUO) Weapons rights and gun-control legislation are likely to be hotly contested
subjects of political debate in light of the 2008 Supreme Court’s decision in District of
Columbia v. Heller in which the Court reaffirmed an individual’s right to keep and bear
arms under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, but left open to debate the
precise contours of that right. Because debates over constitutional rights are intense, and
parties on all sides have deeply held, sincere, but vastly divergent beliefs, violent
extremists may attempt to co-opt the debate and use the controversy as a radicalization
tool.

At least they are tipping their hand on further legislation on guns in the U.S. They wonder why we are upset about current policies? Controversy as a radicalization tool?

(U//FOUO) Rightwing extremist paranoia of foreign regimes could escalate or be
magnified in the event of an economic crisis or military confrontation, harkening back to
the “New World Order” conspiracy theories of the 1990s. The dissolution of Communist
countries in Eastern Europe and the end of the Soviet Union in the 1990s led some
rightwing extremists to believe that a “New World Order” would bring about a world
government that would usurp the sovereignty of the United States and its Constitution,
thus infringing upon their liberty. The dynamics in 2009 are somewhat similar, as other
countries, including China, India, and Russia, as well as some smaller, oil-producing
states, are experiencing a rise in economic power and influence.

The demonizing of people who think that the new administration has crossed the boundary of world governance, is in a way a violation of free speech, at the least it minimizes the credibility of another point of view, in the worst it enforces the “one view” of the Obama Administration.

Rasmussen Poll: 53% of Americans prefer Capitalism to Socialism

Rasmussen Poll: 53% of Americans prefer Capitalism to Socialism

When I first heard about this latest poll, I’ll admit I was floored. But after reading about the internal divisions of the poll, it all began to make sense. The big dividing factor seem to be age related, and investment related.

If Obama has been good at one thing, I’d say he’s been good at getting his socialist agenda across to the younger generation. It seems to be the “in thing” to do now to claim yourself as a socialist.

The under 30 crowd tends not to have or make investments for future use, and therefore see the benefits of social programs, while the over 40 crowd that makes investments favors capitalism 5 to 1.

To see how effective Obama has been at getting his message across, the very same poll was done in December 2008, and the results were very different. At that time 70% preferred Capitalism to Socialism. Obama’s message is that America’s system is flawed, from the Supreme Court to the financial system, and the youth seem to be eating it up.

It seems that American Society is ripe for this message of entitlement, because to be honest, the youth of today are considered by many to be the “entitled generation.” Add that to the fact that youths are more easily swayed, and you have the new volatile mix of politics today. For some reason, the youth live in the “now” and not for the future, they haven’t informed themselves about history, or even the recent past for that matter.

I think a past quote says it best; “If you are under 40 and you aren’t a Democrat you don’t have a heart, and if you are over 40 and are a Democrat you don’t have a brain.”

Apology for arrogance
The reigning king of Narcissism apologized in the country of arrogance (France) for the American arrogance of the past, but also criticized Europe of it’s own arrogance against America, but not once did he apologize for his own arrogance.

Serious consequences
President Barack Obama is observing first hand what “tough talk” does to rectify a tense situation. He warned North Korea, last week that if the missle was fired there would be “serious consequences.” The North Koreans no more listened to his sword rattling then they did to President Bush’s. The U.S. response? File for a sanction through the U.N. to go along with the other two resolutions they haven’t responded to……wow the U.N., I know that would have sure scared me to death…….sorry Obama, you blinked, now what?

Stirring the pot of anger
Senate did such a good job of stirring the pot of anger about the AIG bonuses of $165 million, but remains curiously silent about the $210 million paid in bonuses to executives of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These government subsidized organizations that failed do to the inaction of Congressional Democrats, and subsequently had donated large amounts of money to those same Democrats re-election campaigns have been paid more then the AIG execs…….the moral here is to donate in a more direct way, like directly into their pockets!

Statement that nobody remembers
Joe Biden recalls a meeting with Bush that makes no sense, but he defends it anyway
"We are rebuilding America's ability to lead," Biden said. "And I remember President Bush saying to me one time in the Oval Office, and he was a great guy, enjoyed being with him. He said to me, he said, well, Joe, he said, I'm a leader. And I said, Mr. President, turn around and look behind you. No one's following. People are beginning to follow the United States again as a consequence of our administration." His tense is all wrong, why would he be talking to Bush in the Oval Office after “his” administration was being followed?…maybe he snuck back in the cloak of darkness.

Highway To Hell

Highway To Hell
By: Kevin Bryant

I spent the last week or so planning on write about this or that and would have it pretty much formulated in head when out of the blue, something else would come up that would make me just a little more angry than the last thing that ticked me off. Going on 7 straight months now, the things that have been taking place in D.C. has been driving this conservative closer and closer to the edge of political sanity.

Right now, I would love to be in front of a joint session of congress and have Obama and Biden there and have all of them address the following questions:”

1) What happened to the Constitution? Does it no longer apply?
2) Since when did states start having their rights granted to them by the Federal Government?
3) The power of the Federal Government is given by the people. What gives you the right to strip power from the people?
4) Given this body’s approval ratings, why did not of you vote against receiving a pay raise for the past two years?
5) Would you not agree that a 13% approval rating indicates that none of you are in touch with Main Street America? Or do you just not care what America thinks?
6) Why don’t you restructure your own raises, salary and retirements so that they are in line with other civil servants such as firemen and police officers?
7) No one in the current administration can seem to pay the correct amount of taxes, why should we?
8) Since when does a sitting or past President for that matter such as our current President has, and go before foreign leaders and badmouth past administrations and the United States as a whole? Or show such weakness while commanding the most powerful military ever assembled throughout history?
9) This room is full of failures. Each of you failed your constituents and your country. Who are you to decide in a capitalist society what or who is “too big to fail”?
10) You all took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Why should we as a nation not consider you all as traitors?

I have absolutely no faith or hope left in me that this administration or this congress will do anything other than continue to speed up the journey on this highway to hell that they have put us on.

I feel like I am losing my objectivity, therefore I am going to take a break from writing for a while. I appreciate all the great comments & support I have received over the past year. Revelations, in a way

Revelations, in a way

[1] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

He came by such unremarkable ways. He rose from the inactions of many, made his reputation on the misfortune of others. He played to peoples emotions, and when done cast them into the dark. He claimed to be all things to all men, and yet showed proof of none.

[4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

With adoration came his power. The adoration had nothing to do with his beliefs, and yet everything to do with them. His Christian claim, was one of doubt, tainted by hatred and blasphemy to all those he professed to be part of, and yet the faithful believed.

[5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And the faithful followed blindly, adoring his every step, his every word. He spoke of Christianity, and yet followed the way of a non-believer. He spoke the words of love for the Jews, but yet held a deep resentment. He spoke the words only to be adored, and none of substance, and yet they followed.

[6] And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
[7] And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

He spoke of the power of God, and yet practiced the religion of non-faith, and silently showed support for the darker side of faith, one of hatred for all who were not like them. He promised a faith of the world, one united, and yet one without aim or compassion. He spoke to all nations when he felt the need of power over his own people, which he felt were not listening. He rallied the other nations to explain the greater good to his people.

[9] If any man have an ear, let him hear.

He preached the word to anyone who would listen, and the message evolved. The new message was that of reverence to the beast. The massive change happened slowly, at first they questioned, but soon they believed, one god, one religion, that of the beast.

[12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

The faithful joined hands with the non-believers and the transformation was well on its way. The faithful now slayed any that were not like them, and used the power of the beast to repel any attacks. One way, one worship, blindly following the master.

[14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

He deceived by false witness, using his power to cheapen the message. He denied all others not aligned with him, and sought to have them killed, the image was now solidified.

[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

His power was now complete, the adoration was fulfilled, and the deception of the image was now in the hands of the 545 saints under his control. His destiny was complete, his followers were branded with his false deception, and their mark was….

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

On The Other Hand

On The Other Hand
By: Kevin Bryant

I liked George W. Bush’s first 4 years in office. I can’t say much about his second 4 years though. I thought Bill Clinton did a good job overall in 94, 96 & 97 but those were really the only years that he actually listened to and accepted advice from Dick Morris. George H.W. Bush had a good 4 year run except when he compromised with a democratic controlled congress and agreed to raise taxes once and then they used it against him…aka “Read My Lips”. Ronald Reagan stayed consistent in all his years in office.

Though these former Presidents disagreed on how to govern a nation, they did share a common trait. They each laid out before the public their intentions and then set out to accomplish their goals.

Since the early 1900’s we have slowly been pushing the lines of the political spectrum further to the left and towards socialism. We continually move away from small government, less market interference and more liberties and have moved ever so slowly towards large government, more interference with the free market and surrendering more liberties. The right and left of the political spectrum have been moving in unison though there still remains a gap between the two.

As each previous President has laid out their agenda, we have seen the lines shift a little more here and there but with the exception of Reagan those lines have still moved progressively leftward.

President Obama laid out his agenda to the public during the primaries and the general election. During the primaries, he was all for moving the lines farther and faster to the left than any of his predecessors in a single term in office. During the general election, he changed his agenda and let everyone know that he would take a more moderate stance. So, what have we seen in his first 70 days in office?

We have seen corruption, lies, deceit and everything we conservatives have feared since the day he announced this candidacy for the office. He has placed in key positions what has amounted to nothing more than legalized mob bosses to do his dirty work for him all the while he continues to paint himself to the public as the champion of middle class.

While he and his fellow democrats hammered Rush Limbaugh and was calling him the leader of the republican party and praying for Obama to fail, his own party knew that the Chicago Tribune was sitting on a story about how his White House Chief of Staff had been a temporary board member of Freddie Mac and had received over $340,000 from them in only a 4 month period. President Obama knows about the AIG bonuses 3 days before they come to light for the general public and only then does he fake outrage over them while at the same time he orders up another one trillion dollars to be printed and placed in the treasury even though no one is now buying up the U.S. debt.

So far his whole presidency has been nothing but a shell game, doing the rope-a-dope or whatever you wish to call it. He has no problems showing you what his right hand is doing and will even proudly wave it for all to see so long as you do not notice what the left hand is doing at the same time.

How many mainstream news articles have you seen about legislating small farms and individual gardens that we plant every spring. There’s one out there and of course they say that it is not the intention to legislate those things, but the language in this bill to do exactly that. Why should anyone in congress be allowed to tell you what vegetables you can and can’t grow in your back yard? Why does the government need to know what you buy at a farmer’s market and how long after purchase are you planning on consuming that which you purchased. It’s all in the bill.

Another bill no one has heard of surpasses Americorp and lays the foundation for mandatory community service for all teens up to a certain age. Though once again, those of the democratic party that support this bill tell us that it is not the intent to force children into voluntary community service or actions but the language is in there to make it mandatory. Are we living in 2009 America or 1934 Germany? To tell the truth, it’s getting a little harder each day to tell the difference between the two

For every false crisis that has popped up, every manufactured outburst of anger that has been expressed by this administration, there has been a back door deal made or back room operation underway to deflect attention away from himself and what he is doing.

The only thing this administration lacks is a Secretary of Propaganda. Once Obama has that, then his cabinet will be complete.

Where is the outrage?

This article pretty much explains my outrage, and maybe yours too, let me know what you think.

This letter was sent to the Wall Street Journal on August 8, 2008 by Alisa Wilson, Ph.D. Of Beverly Hills, CA in response to the Wall Street Journal article titled "Where's The Outrage?" that appeared July 31, 2008.

Really. I can tell you where the outrage is. The outrage is here, in this middle-aged, well-educated, upper-middle class woman. The outrage is here, but I have no representation, no voice. The outrage is here, but no one is listening for who am I?

I am not a billionaire like George Soros that can fund an entire political movement. I am not a celebrity like Barbra Streisand that can garner the attention of the press to promote political candidates. I am not a filmmaker like Michael Moore or Al Gore that can deliver misleading movies to the public.

The outrage is here, but unlike those with money or power, I don't know how to reach those who feel similarly in order to effect change. Why am I outraged? I am outraged that my country, the United States of America, is in a state of moral and ethical decline. There is no right or wrong anymore, just what's fair.

Is it fair that millions of Americans who overreached and borrowed more than they could afford are now being bailed out by the government and lending institutions to stave off foreclosure? Why shouldn't these people be made to pay the consequences for their poor judgement?

When my husband and I purchased our home, we were careful to purchase only what we could afford. Believe me, there are much larger, much nicer homes that I would have loved to have purchased. But, taking responsibility for my behavior and my life, I went with the house that we could afford, not the house that we could not afford. The notion of personal responsibility has all but died in our country.

I am outraged that the country that welcomed my mother as an immigrant from Hitler's Nazi Germany and required that she and her family learn English now allows itself to be overrun with illegal immigrants and worse, caters to those illegal immigrants.

I am outraged that my hard-earned taxes help support those here illegally; that the Los Angeles Public School District is in such disarray that I felt it incumbent to send my child to private school; that every time I go to the ATM, I see "do you want to continue in English or Spanish?"; that every time I call the bank, the phone company, or similar business, I hear "press 1 for English or press 2 for Spanish". WHY? This is America, our common language is English and attempts to promote a bi-or multi-lingual society are sure to fail and to marginalize those who cannot communicate in English.

I am outraged at our country's weakness in the face of new threats on American traditions from Muslims. Just this week, Tyson's Food negotiated with its union to permit Muslims to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor Day. What am I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali Muslim population working at the Tyson's plant in Tennessee. Tennessee, last I checked, is still part of the United States. If Muslims want to live and work here they should be required to live and work by our American Laws and not impose their will on our long history.

In the same week, Random House announced that they had indefinitely delayed the publication of The Jewel of Medina, by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of Mohammed's wife, Aisha, due to fear of retribution and violence by Muslims. When did we become a nation ruled by fear of what other immigrant groups want? It makes me so sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly on the principles that built this country.

I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a political policy, yet appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent article, also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went through over 20 years of history and why talking with Iran has been and will continue to be ineffective. Yet talk, with a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost our moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will not go in and destroy Iran's nuclear program? Would we rather wait for another Holocaust for the Jews - one which they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?

As if the battle for good and evil isn't enough, now come the Environmentalists who are so afraid of global warming that they want to put a Bag tax on grocery bags in California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish something as insidious as the recycle police in San Francisco. I do my share for the environment: I recycle, I use water wisely, I installed an energy-efficient air conditioning unit. But when and where does the lunacy stop? Ahmadinejad wants to wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being overrun by illegal immigrants, and the United States of America no longer knows right from wrong, good from evil. So what does California do? Tax grocery bags.

So, America , although I can tell you where the outrage is, this one middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class woman is powerless to do anything about it. I don't even feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by those who disagree with me.

Danger Will Robinson

"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who do nothing." Albert Einstein

Danger Will Robinson
By: Kevin Bryant

Sometimes don’t you wish you had a friendly robot warning you when danger was near? More often than not, I would say no to this question, but there have been times when ignorance, pride, stupidity, hasty actions or other just plain lack of spur of the moment common sense has caused me to do stupid things that I later came to regret. It’s those times I wish I did have a robot like the one on the TV show and movie “Lost in Space” and would have slapped me up side the head telling me to not do the stupid things I have done in life.

When Al first asked me to try my hand at writing a piece or two for him, I hesitated before responding. I’m no writer, never have been. I’m just a conservative blue collar working guy who has an opinion like most other people in this country. When I did finally tell him I would try it, I figured on two, maybe three short little things I would write just to get them off my chest and then be done with it. Now I feel like part of me is turning liberal because I just can’t seem to shut the heck up……and the other half is energizer bunny because I keep going and going and going….. “Help me….I’ve opened my mouth and I can’t shut up”.

Several months back, before the general election, I wrote a piece suggesting that McCain should pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate. A lot of you thought it was an interesting concept but way to radical of an idea. True, it was a radical thought, but I wonder now if he had picked Hillary, who exactly would be sitting behind the desk in the oval office. If it were McCain behind that desk, would America be in the same shape it is now? Would things be better? Or Worse?

A few months back, I compared Obama’s ego and demeanor to that of Hitler. Both using fear and blame as a means to grab more power unto the office they held. A few commentators have recently done a side by side comparison of Hitler and Obama and the actions they have taken immediately following their election to office. Glen Beck even did a show recently stating that Obama was bypassing European style socialism and possibly leading us to fascism, ala Hugo Chavez style.

With every passing week, Obama’s popularity dips just a little, but this is expected when the shiny newness wears off. But what I do find more interesting is his disapproval numbers. They are going up faster than his approval numbers are falling. Obama is turning out to be one of those people who you love or hate. Those that claim to be undecided moderates when asked to rate Obama’s performance to date are slipping away pretty fast. There seems to be no middle ground with this guy. Obama is the Oakland Raiders or the New York Yankees of the political world. You either love him or hate him, there is no in-between.

If we all had our own personal robots to warn of impending danger, I wonder what the robot would have said just prior to us casting our votes in the 2008 election. I think mine would have been proud of me for NOT voting for Obama.

Normally when I place quotes in something, I work them in somewhere in the body of whatever I am writing or I place it at the end. Until the other day, I had never heard the Albert Einstein quote at the top of the page. It came to me in a joke that was forwarded as part of someone’s email signature. I had received the joke before and with most repeats, I usually just delete them. This one though made me hesitate. Not because of the joke, but because of the quote. I don’t know the person who used it as part of the signature, it just stuck out and I couldn’t get it out of my head. So, for two weeks, it just sat in my inbox doing nothing.

Last night during some show, I don’t even remember what it was because my wife was watching it, not me, but I was in the kitchen and heard someone say “speak up” on television. This quote immediately came to mind.

Perhaps it’s time we all not only ask others to speak up but start pushing them to do so. Perhaps it’s time for the elusive “silent majority” to stand up and be noticed publicly. We live in unparalleled times for the United States. As a nation, we are teetering on so many levels: socialism fascism, economic meltdown, loss of liberty, one world currency, unmatched government corruption, 70% tax rates. Pick your own poison. These issues are out there and unless we find a way to progress way beyond the tea parties that are planned for April 15th and do it quickly, there is no telling what dangers our congress and our President will further expose us to.

They aren’t listening to us. Part of the reason is that we are not forcing them to. Nancy Pelosi stated right after the 2006 elections that America voted for change and that is what we are going to deliver or something like that. Obama paraded himself around as change we can believe in. Well, Nancy was right….we got change and Obama’s change we can believe in was right as well. I definitely believe we have changed as a nation. I think not one damn bit of that change has for the better. I didn’t vote for this type of change. I would wager than that a majority of Americans didn’t vote for this type of change either.

I don’t believe myself to be an evil person and with the exception of two individuals on this planet, I wouldn’t wish harm unto anyone. No, those two individuals do not include Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Murtha or even my ex wife. But, other than my ex wife, if any were to parish as a result of a stroke, heart attack, plane crash or other non deliberate act, I wouldn’t be sad, nor would I rejoice. I would just call it divine intervention and move on with my life. And I would probably finally give Reverend Wright his due and agree that finally, America’s chickens have indeed come home to roost.

Side note: If my ex wife were to meet one of these fates, I would be sad for my kids. Perhaps a little for myself since we were married for almost 18 years.

Hillary: Mexico’s problems our fault
Hillary publicly admitted that if there weren’t a demand for drugs in our country there wouldn’t be a drug trade problem. Then went on to say that the US is illegally shipping guns to Mexico and that is our fault too. Not once did she consider that if there weren’t a demand in Mexico for guns then we wouldn’t be shipping them there. The blame rests on both sides here, and denial of that fact doesn’t help the situation one bit. On an update note, it was first claimed by Obama’s Administration that 90% of the weapons being used in the violence in Mexico came from the U.S. Well, it seems they had a little fuzzy math thing going on, the reality was 17%…….but the Propaganda department lives on.

Dodd in more trouble
It has come to light that AIG executives were told that is was heavily suggested that they donate to Senator Dodd’s campaign. Add that fact to the one where his wife worked for a wholly owned subsidiary of AIG’s and you no longer have to question his conflict of interest, it is glaringly obvious. Recent approval polls have Dodd way down, in fact below all of his Republican campaigners for the 2010 election

Reversal of policy
By way of a full-court State Department press to become members of UN Human Rights Council, President Obama has agreed with the UN denouncement of Jewish rights. Just last week, the HRC has put in place anti-Israel resolutions. The Republican Jewish Coalition has said, “President Bush understood that there could be no positive result from American participation in an international body so inherently hostile to Israel and so fundamentally incapable of acting in defense of human rights. That President Obama has chosen to reverse American policy on this question is a blow to the U.S.-Israel relationship and a cause for deep concern among American Jews.”

Replacing the Board of Directors at GM?
Wednesday the Administration voiced its desire to replace the Board of Directors at GM, on the heels of the forced removal of Rick Wagoner, GM’s CEO. If this actually comes to bear, how will any of this differ from what Hugo Chavez did to Exxon in his country to gain control of the oil industry?

Onyango gets to stay
Zeituni Onyango, the Kenyan aunt of President Obama, even though she was denied permission to stay in the US 4 years ago, she got yet another reprieve Thursday by a Boston Judge Leonard I. Shapiro. He has allowed her to stay in this country until January of 2010. She was escorted in and out of the private hearing by a security detail. No wonder we can’t get a birth certificate on her nephew, we can’t even get rid of her!

Obama Indicted under a citizen Grand Jury!

While many groups have sought by civil actions to force Barack Obama to produce his birth certificate, someone new has emerged onto the scene to use another avenue to force that same production.

Georgia resident Carl Swensson, has used his influence by way of his website RiseUpForAmerica.org to advance a criminal complaint against President Barack Obama. Swensson is using the Magna Carta as his basis for the authority to form this citizens grand jury. The Magna Carta is the bill of rights formed on British Law when the US broke away from England.

Over the weekend the 25 sworn Jurors took testimony from many sources, and then filed them this morning with the States Attorney’s Office in Northern Georgia. The jurors were picked, sworn in, and informed of all official procedures.

On Swensson’s website the actions have serious consequences, “"If the government does not amend the error within 40 days after being shown the error, then the four members shall refer the matter to the remainder of the grand jury. The grand jury may distrain and oppress the government in every way in their power, namely, by taking the homes, lands, possessions, and any way else they can until amends shall have been made according to the sole judgment of the grand jury.”

One can only hope that this may be the legal device to force Obama to produce his Birth Certificate and not just a Certificate of Live Birth, to a forensic analysis expert to be checked for validity. All we want is closure on this issue, he is either a naturalized citizen or not, and the actual Birth Certificate is the ONLY proof of that……the proof that Obama will not share with anyone.

All the civil cases that have been denied have been dismissed so far, maybe this is the only avenue left!
